Shipping & Freight

How a 380-pound grill gets to your patio.

The Tailgater, Pioneer, and Reunion are hand-built in our Ellaville workshop, then shipped on a freight truck; the in-stock Mini ships UPS right to your door. Here's the full picture: what the build queue looks like, what each delivery option includes, and what to do if anything's not right when the truck arrives.

Delivery day

What to expect when the truck rolls up.

Before the truck arrives

Once your grill ships, the freight carrier reaches out to set a delivery window with you. Make sure the path from the curb to wherever the pallet will sit is clear: no parked cars, no garden hoses, no kid bikes.

On arrival

The driver lowers the pallet on the liftgate, drops it at the end of your driveway, and gets your signature. From there the last 30 feet are yours.

Bring two people and a hand truck. A Reunion is 480 lbs and the Pioneer isn't far behind.

Inspect before you sign

Walk around the crate before you sign the bill of lading. Forklift punctures, crushed corners, and torn shrink-wrap are all reasons to refuse the delivery. That keeps the damage on the carrier's books, and we'll work with you to make it right.

If you find damage after the fact

Take photographs. Email ignite@gathergrills.com as soon as you can with your order number, the photos, and a quick note. We'll sort out the claim and get the right parts moving. Taking care of you is the whole point.

Special cases

Where else we ship.

United States

All fifty states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Alaska and Hawaii incur a freight surcharge calculated after order. We'll email you a quote within one business day, and you can decline at no cost if the number isn't right.

Canada

Available by quote. Email us with your address and we'll work out freight, brokerage, and timing. Cross-border transit varies enough that we'd rather give you an honest estimate with your quote than print a promise here.

International

We don't ship internationally ourselves, but we've worked with buyers who do. If you arrange and pay for the freight forwarder, customs, and everything past the dock, we'll get your grill to the US port. It's real work on your end, so write to us first and we'll talk it through.
