Became something more.

It started with a fire pit and a world on pause.

Jed Strange bought a fire pit in February 2020. Weeks later, COVID shut down Strange Farms, the family retreat venue that had been bringing companies, churches, and families together since 2012. The gatherings were on hold. The pull of the fire wasn't.

Jed wanted to cook over that fire, and the grates he could buy weren't up to it. So he drew something bigger on a sketchpad: grill, griddle, smoker, and fire pit in one, with a rotating cooktop and wing tables the whole crowd can pull a chair up to. He ordered custom grates, got out the welder, and built the first prototype. Plenty of trial and error later, that design became the Reunion, the largest grill in the lineup. Everything since is the same idea: the cook never steps out of the conversation.
